Indeed, my sources reside on a shared Linux drive, but I do majority of development on Windows. And yes, they do originate from zip archive. I guess we can close the bug item and and add a FAQ item. Are you simply copying the files from the ZIP archive to Linux? This would explain the problem, because all text files (and hence, shell scripts) in the ZIP file use DOS line endings.
