PocoScript and PocoLua

Filed under: News by alex at 00:15

There’s been some interest recently for the topic in the mailing list and feature request tracker, so I have decided to import some code I’ve put together during my grad school days. It is still very rudimentary – PocoScript front-end library with one back-end for now – PocoLua. At this point, it is possible to execute a Lua script and exchange data with it. I have removed the persistence code I’ve had in there since it was really half baked, but would like to eventually see it back in. The way to achieve persistence with Lua is Pluto.

Anyone willing to contribute to PocoLua or port any other scripting engine, email me.
