File Transfer Suggestions

Hi,

I have a TCPServer application and client. I need to transfer a set of files across the network. POCO provides a variety of ways to accomplish this. I am looking for some recommendations on the preferred approach. My preference would be based on coding simplicity, speed and then the ability to encrypt/decrypt.

From the coding perspective, the simplest way to transfer file contents would be using the HTTP Protocol (HTTPServer and HTTPClientSession in POCO::Net). This should give you all the flexibility you need. With the new Crypto library in 1.3.3 you can also implement encryption quite easily.
