Timer Issue

Let's say I create a timer and then call:

timer.stop(); // This works

and then say a few lines later

timer.stop() // This blocks!? I think it should not block. If there is no timer active or started, it should just go.

timer.stop() only blocks when called from within the callback function
(use reset(0) in this case).

Otherwise calling stop twice works fine for me.
