Compiling POCO in VC++.NET and CLR support

Postby yaerek » 03 Jan 2009, 15:52

Howdy. I was wondering if anyone tried to compile POCO using Visual C++ .NET.
We've been using POCO with standard Visual C++ 2008 but we need to combine it with a GUI that uses .NET forms.
In other words, can POCO be built using VC++ 2008 with CLR support flag?
If it can, then what are the steps? If not, then is there a way to combine an application that uses POCO with a .NET C++ forms?

Regards and Thanks,
Yaerek

I haven't tried compiling POCO under C++/CLR. What has worked for me in the past is compiling POCO natively, and then writing a managed wrapper in C++/CLR that exposes a CLR interface to the interesting parts of POCO.
