How to get Poco 1.3.7 x64 compiled with Visual Studio 2010

Hello guys!

I am trying to compile POCO in the latest SVN Version ( 1.3.7 ). However, I run into some problems doing so.

I am using Windows 7 x64 on an Intel Core 2 Duo Quad with 8 Gig RAM, so the power of my Computer should be sufficient.

On the one hand, the compilation will fail when I am using the Visual Studio x64 Win64 Command Prompt

COMMAND:

Code: Select all
C:\src\poco-1.3.7_native>buildwin.cmd 90 build shared release yes devenv

OUTPUT:

Code: Select all
C:\src\poco-1.3.7_native>buildwin.cmd 90 build shared release yes devenv
Building:
release_shared

On the other hand, I get everything compiled successfully using the Visual Studio x64 Cross Tools Command Prompt.*

Why won't Poco compile using the native x64 compiler?

PS: Prior to entering any VS CMD Prompt, I converted the POCO Source to VS 2010 using the attached Powershell Script.

I got the code from http://guyellisrocks.com/powershell/powershell-replace-text-in-files-and-recurse-subdirectories/ and extended it to suite my needs.

Try opening and converting the project files directly in Visual Studio 2010 64-bit and see what happens.

Of course, that is what I did first.

It won't work.

The x64 cl.exe file in the bin\x64 folder seems to be defective.

Code: Select all
C:\src\poco-1.3.7>buildwin 90 build shared release yes devenv
Building:
release_shared

I have just again tried to manually upgrade every solution with vs 2010 and adding x64 configuration, but it's still not working
