MySQL unsigned integer types don't work properly

Postby reug » 17 May 2009, 14:37

mysql_stmt_fetch error
occures each time when I try to select data from UNSIGNED INT field into the unsigned int variable,
if the value has highest bit set (i.e. is negative in "signed" sense).
The same problem with other integer types.
If I try to insert unsigned int with such value (for example, 0x81234567 in case of UNSIGNED INT), the zero is inserted into the table.
There is no problem (select or insert) if a value is less than 0x80000000.

poco 1.3.5, MySQL 5.0.67, openSUSE Linux 11.1
