uninstalling libraries

Postby mkaut » 19 Oct 2012, 16:26

Hello,

probably a stupid question, but how do I uninstall POCO, that was installed using "sudo make -s install"?
I have not found any uninstall target for make.

Is it enough to delete the following file (for POCO 1.4.4)?
/usr/local/bin/*cpsp* (4 files)
/usr/local/include/Poco
/usr/local/lib/libPoco*

(I want to remove this version and install 1.5 instead.)

Thanks.

yah, build system is somewhat of an orphan. would be nice if someone would take ownership of it and contribute uninstall make target - shouldn't be much work.
