CMake on Mac ?

Postby rmoffer » 16 Jun 2009, 11:28

Has anyone had success with using the CMake build process on Mac (leopard) ?

I'm seeing failures when trying to link NetSSL (unresolved symbols)

Code: Select all
Linking CXX shared library ../../../lib/libPocoNetSSL.dylib
Undefined symbols:
  "Poco::Net::HTTPException::HTTPException(std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&, std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&, int)", referenced from:
      Poco::Net::HTTPSClientSession::connect(Poco::Net::SocketAddress const&)in HTTPSClientSession.o
      Poco::Net::HTTPSStreamFactory::open(Poco::URI const&)in HTTPSStreamFactory.o
      Poco::Net::HTTPSStreamFactory::open(Poco::URI const&)in HTTPSStreamFactory.o
  "typeinfo for Poco::Net::StreamSocket", referenced from:
      typeinfo for Poco::Net::SecureStreamSocketin SecureStreamSocket.o
  "Poco::Net::SocketImpl::available()", referenced from:
      vtable for Poco::Net::SecureServerSocketImplin SecureServerSocketImpl.o
      vtable for Poco::Net::SecureStreamSocketImplin SecureStreamSocketImpl.o

This does seem to be CMake specific, if I use the traditional build, then it compiles okay.

If no one else has tried CMake on OS X, I'll investigate and generate a patch.

(using svn 1187)

Found the problem - I'll upload a patch to SF once I've finished testing it.
