Building Poco 1.4.6p2-all on 64 Bit Fedora 20

Postby jstafford » 15 Feb 2014, 09:28

I just tried to build Poco 1.4.6p2 (all) on 64 Bit Fedora 20 and ran into an issue with the MySQLClient. The configuration doesn't pick up the 64 Bit OSARCH and therefore the MAkefile doesn't get the "/usr/lib64/mysql" directory in the library search path.

I tried to figure out how that is set in the config, but I wasn't able to find it.

Thanks,

Johnie

Kind of running into the same thing but with CentOS 6.5 64bit.

Are you trying to build a static or shared version of the library? If building static, make sure you have the static link files and not just the shared versions.

There was a mention in a readme somewhere (can't remember where I saw it), but it mentioned changing the make file and adding the path manually.
