Forum post approval?

Hi,

New to Poco and this forum. I posted a topic yesterday morning in Support and it has yet to appear.

Excuse my impatience but why do new posts need to be approved before posting? It seems a very useful library? Are you not afraid of stifling development if it takes 1 or 2 days for posts to go up? Beginners with the library might get frustrated and move on is all. By the way the documentation is quite good just it would be nice to get help from other POCO developers a bit quicker.

The problem is that we've got lots of spam. I am tired of having to remove porn and other spam every day, and having first posts need approval is very effective in preventing spam. Normally, posts should be approved within a few hours, except when moderators don't have internet access, as was for the last two days.

Okay, thats fair enough if its the first post thats moderated. Thanks for the reply.
