Unicode support?

I am new to POCO. I have been scanning the code and looking at the examples.
Have I missed something? There seems to be no unicode support. std::string is used throughout.

There is Unicode support. POCO is UTF-8 based - that is the only way to support Unicode in a platform-independent way. On Windows, wherever we intersect with Unicode-dependent API, it is taken care for through *_WIN32U versions of source files which are included when POCO is compiled with POCO_WIN32_UTF8 (default). Additionally, for user's convenience, there is UnicodeConverter helper class.
