Build POCO for Windows CE

Postby kubain » 06 Jun 2013, 11:23

Hello everyone,

I encountered some dificulties trying to build POCO C++ librairies for Windows CE. I use Microsoft Visual 2008 (9.0) and my customized Windows CE SDK is well insalled. I downloaded POCO sources and changed all "Digi Jumpstart" occurences by the name of my own Windows CE SDK as required. Now I'm trying to build POCO (launching build_CE_vs90.cmd from Visual prompt), I get synthax errors in "winbase.h" (at Foundation build step). I saw on the web that use winbase is not a good idea so I tried to change the include instruction with "windows.h" as recommended. But I still have errors, now in wce_winbase.h, a particular winbase used in wcelibcex-1.0 (a module used by POCO located in Foundation\wcelibcex-1.0\src).

Could anyone please help me succeed in POCO building ?

Many thanks for those who will help ;)

Try building directly from within Visual Studio. May be a build environment issue.

Well, I forgot to try that way. Indeed, that works (I just had to change target platform to ARM4 instead or ARM4T for all the projects) ! I try to use it in my CE project and I tell you if I get any issues.

Thanks a lot ;)
