Are there any plans for supporting VS2008 in the upcoming 1.3.3 release?
Or do we have to wait for 1.4?

VS 2008 support will be in 1.3.3.
Also, you can just upgrade the VS 2005 project files to 2008. There's nothing special for 2008.
