Single Truncatable Logging File

Postby andaanma » 08 Jul 2014, 17:28

Hello, I was wondering if I could configure the Logging subsystem such that I can log to a single log file, truncate it when enough data is written to the file, and not leave any archive files after truncation. Something like setting a channel's property like "c1.purgeCount = 0". I know this is currently not possible in 1.5.3, is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

Yes, write a strategy that does what you need, write tests and submit pull request on github.
