Any idea when the local sockets support will be released?

i know that it's in SVN, but it looks as it still not released?

Is the SVN code stable enough for you?

If it is, you could just compile statically or make your own package of the libs, depending on what your usage is.

Local sockets support is likely to be introduced in a version that will extract sockets out of the Net Library (and break backward code compatibility in a significant way). No time frame yet.

It is not. Also, the code in SVN does not include the modifications/fixes for 1.3.4 and 1.3.5 releases).
