Poco on GitHub

Any chance of Poco making it on GitHub?

If it's ever decided that we'll go for it, there should be a transition period. Long story short, we'd need someone to do the transition from existing SVN and then keep on maintaining and synchronizing Subversion with GitHub until we definitely decide we'll move. I don't have any experience with Git. I do understand how it works but theory is one thing, practice is something else. So, I'm not even sure the move should be made, but perhaps someone experienced would be able to move and motivate us by convincingly demonstrating the benefits.

As it turns out, a SF SVN synced Git repository for POCO already exists on Gitorious. There's also someone syncing it on GitHub, although it's somewhat outdated. Here are some opinions/comparisons between GitHub and Gitorious.

Since neither of those mirrors seem to be maintained I've created a new one at https://github.com/sebastient/poco which is setup to sync every night currently.
