Thread completion on ActiveMethod

Postby pdemasco » 27 Apr 2007, 14:58

I'm a brand new Poco user and I'm having some trouble with the ActiveMethod class. It seems that the underlying threads are still running even though I execute a wait on the ActiveResult. If I then delete the parent class, my app crashes.

I ran into a similar problem in the Activitiy class.

Thanks,
Patrick

Sorry...

1) Should have probably posted to support
2) Should have probably included version and platform (1.2.9-ssl & WIN32)

Thanks again...

Could it be the problem lies somewhere else?
ActiveMethod takes the thread from the global thread pool, so even after the last active method finishes there will still be threads running - the idle threads in the thread pool waiting for new wok.
