ServerApplication fails to start when registered as windows service

Postby Amine » 30 Nov 2007, 19:54

When I launch (using the windows services console) the service registered by using the option /registerService I have an error (1067) and the service fails to start.
Do you know about this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I resolved my problem: the bins must be in the system32 folder.

If by 'bins' you mean DLL libraries, then this may be true due to some particular settings/permissions you have on your machine. Normally, it is enough to have the libraries somewhere in the path or in the same directory where the main executable resides.
