Bug in HTTPFormServer ?

Postby lazalong » 19 Mar 2008, 06:01

Hello

I compiled the HTTPFormServer sample (svn sandbox) with VC8 (express edition)
all worked fine.

Except that the delegate HTTPFormServer::onClicked is not called.

Code: Select all

         Poco::AutoPtr< Button > ptrBut = new Button("Submit");
         ptrBut->ESingleClick += delegate(this, &HTTPFormServer::onClicked);
         ptrStack->add(ptrBut);

I tried to debug but I am not familiar enough with the abstract event code and got lost.
And I didn't find a relevant bug report.

Any idea?

Also what is the status on the WebWidgets project?

I saw on another thread that you consider either Ajax and/or Flash.
Any plans?

(Rant: it is a pain to login all the time).

The WebWidgets library, as currently in the Sandbox, is just proof-of-concept code and not intended for use in real projects. We are currently working on the "real" implementation, which will be available in April.

Cool - only 2 weeks to wait ;)

Btw even if the samples are good it is sometimes difficult to see how to combine the poco features together.
Could you provide a small server sample where you combine a database, multiple html frame/frameset and webwidgets? Such as a welcome page, a secure login (Secure socket?) and a "private" page (cookies) displaying some data (sqlite).

This would give me a good headstart how to combine various parts of poco together.
Thanks.
