I use CBuilder from Embarcadero (nee Borland) http://embarcadero.com/downloads (free trial here)
It's great because you can quickly put together a form.
It Sucks because every single bloody library I try to use with it, stumbles over template issues.
The thing is, I don't think it's far off from compatibility with this library. But it's way too much work to try to put together a project, that has the right include directories, and have the right library usage, when you are trying to learn the bloody thing.
Why is it I can write code that works between multiple operating systems and compilers, but it seems so hard for everyone else. (templates. avoid them)
I'm ranting, I know. I've spent too long trying to get this to work.
