Re: POCO Multicasting

You need to bind the socket to an address (here we're using the wildcard address, but you could also bind to a specific interface) Poco::Net::SocketAddress groupAddr("239.255.255.38", 10381); Poco::Net::SocketAddress sockAddr(Poco::Net::IPAddress(), groupAddr.port()); Poco::Net::MulticastS...

Re: Assertion violation when unzipping similar to #1298 #1416

Seems we have some issue with attachments in the forum. Please send me the Zip file via email (guenter at pocoproject.org). Also, have you checked if the error still happens with the poco-1.7.8 branch? There have been lots of fixes in the Zip library.

Re: Assertion violation when unzipping similar to #1298 #1416

If possible, please file a bug report on GitHub and attach the Zip file. And please also check with the current 1.7.8 branch, there have been a few fixes in the Zip library in this release branch.

Re: How do I authenticate a User using MongoDB

Starting with release 1.7.8, the MongoDB client library in POCO supports authentication using both MONGODB-CR (default pre 3.0) and SCRAM-SHA-1 (default from 3.0).
