You'll have to implement your own mechanism to do so, e.g. by listening for a signal or some other means. There is no standard way to do that in POCO.

The Util library now has a dependency on the JSON library (for the JSONConfiguration class). You can compile the Util library with -DPOCO_UTIL_NO_JSONCONFIGURATION to remove JSONConfiguration support from Util, and with that the dependency on the JSON library.
