Compilation support under Visual Studio 6

Up front I'll plead ignorance to the various Visual Studio versions out there. I realize this is setting the time machine back to 1998, but I may be dealing with interfacing to a large body of application code built with VS6; this might require the whole project (potentially including POCO) to use VS6.

Has POCO been built using Visual Studio 6? Are there project files available?

VS 6.0 is not supported. Aside from being old, it is not a standard-compliant C++ compiler. That being said, you can either (1) compile your code with newer compiler (which I'd recommend as a simpler option) or (2) try to compile POCO with VS 6.0.
