Redis

Postby fbraem » 22 Oct 2015, 19:06

For those interested in a Poco library for Redis ... I've created a branch on my fork of the Poco repository here : https://github.com/fbraem/poco/tree/redis
I know there is another attempt here : https://github.com/RedisCppTeam, but this project doesn't really follow the Poco coding standard and I can't read Chinese comments :) Besides that, it gives me also the opportunity to learn another Pub/Sub solution. Currently only send/reply is supported. Pub/Sub will be added soon ...

Only Poco classes are used to interact with Redis, so this library can be used on all Poco supported platforms.

Good, we'll go with your solution; the other one is based on hiredis, which did not compile on windows out-of-the-box last time I checked. Go ahead, send pull to develop.

Redis module is almost ready. The core is finished. Feel free to try it : https://github.com/fbraem/poco/tree/redis/Redis
When all common Redis commands are tested, I'll create a pull request.
