AppVeyor: Continuous integration for Poco on Visual Studio

Postby zosrothko » 02 Dec 2015, 19:31

Hi

A an open source project, the AppVeyor CI infrastructure provides only one concurrent job for the CI of Poco.

For Visoual Studio only, the full matrix is composed of the following dimensions:

configuration: debug, release
linkmode shared, static_md, static_mt
bundling bundled, unbundled
visualstudio vs2013, vs2015
arch Win32, x64

So, there will be 48 jobs seqentially started for a complete round.
Already a complete round of only 16 jobs without running the tests takes 6 hours. So, 48 jobs will take around 18 hours.
To VisualStudio shoudl be added also, a CI for Cygwin and one for CMake

So, I am wondering if changing of CI infrastructure would be a good idea?
