Poco::MongoDB: How to execute shell commands

Postby oertigw » 27 Oct 2017, 17:55

Hi,
I would like to execute MongoDB shell commands like rs.status() or rs.stepdown() in a C++ application using the Poco MongoDB driver.
Is anyone out there knowing how to do this and can provide an example or some tips how to do it?
Thanks in advance!
Werner

You have to use the related MongoDB command to do this. For example: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/referen ... tStepDown/. In the SQLToMongo sample you can see an example on how to create and execute a command (sample10).
Zumuta!, that's the way to do IT!
